Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold is created by taking Old No. 7 and “double barreling and double mellowing” it – meaning it enjoys an extra maturation period in maple wood before being double charcoal filtered.
The first occurs in the classic Jack Daniel’s barrels, the second takes place in barrels of golden maple.
Tasting Notes: Full and spicy. Hints of orange, brown sugar and spice, full-bodied oak and dry apple
