Moët & Chandon, arguably the single most famous and recognized Champagne brand globally, was established in 1743 by Claude Moët. The story goes that the house’s sparkling wine was French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte’s favourite bubbles.

In the early 1800s, the latter awarded Jean-Rémy Moët (the founder’s grandson) the medal of the Légion d’Honneur, the highest decoration in France.

Moët & Chandon Impérial is the House’s iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moët & Chandon style, a style that distinguishes itself by its bright fruitiness, seductive palate, and elegant maturity.

Moët & Chandon Impérial is golden straw yellow with green highlights and offers a bouquet of vibrant green apples and citrus fruit with fresh mineral nuances and white flowers. Elegant blonde notes of brioche and fresh nuts follow.

On the palate, you can expect fresh white-fleshed fruits such as pear, peach and apple, followed by vibrant citrus fruit brought to life with fine, lively bubbles and a bright finish
