Calvet Varietals Syrah is a red wine grown in Calvet vineyards in France.

This southern French Syrah is initially creamy with plum and deep blackcurrant fruit flavours and a fine tannic body. It then takes on darker notes with burnt toast and cocoa bitterness but with the balancing sweet hit of raisin pepper, liquorice, cloves and anise. The fruity aromas of this wine include cherries and black current.

Calvet Varietals Syrah pairs well with red meat, cold meats, salads and cheeses.
