Código 1530 partnered with artisanal families in San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca, to produce their mezcal. Sourced from the Espadin and Tobala maguey, Código Mezcal Artesenal is crafted using traditional methods, including an earthen oven, copper Mozambique still, and burro-pulled tahona.

The mezcal is aged in Sauvignon Blanc wine barrels from Napa Valley.

Tasting notes include floral, light woody vanilla, mandarin orange citrus, dark cherry, earth, stone, clay, and gentle smoke.
